Future Energy Congress 2025

Nuclear power development, RES integration, grid modernization, industrial competitiveness and energy security were the main themes of the 4th Future Energy Congress, which was held under the theme “Synergy of Innovations.” The common denominator of the debates was the need for systemic changes that will enable efficient decarbonization and ensure Poland’s stable energy supply in the long term.

During the panel “Energy-intensive industry in the era of decarbonization,” Marcin Ludwicki, CEO of PST Trade, shared his experience. In the expert debate, he noted that in the transformation of the energy-intensive sector, not only the diversification of energy sources, but also deeper cross-sectoral cooperation – both at the level of investment and legislation – will be key.

The Future Energy Congress is a cyclical event where participants discuss current challenges of the energy market. The event brought together representatives of the energy industry from across Poland and energy sector experts, creating a space to discuss the future of the industry in the context of global trends. KEP showed that Poland stands at the threshold of a profound energy transition, but significant legislative changes and a new approach by energy companies to investment and innovation are needed.
