Renewable energy sources, energy sector transformation, onshore wind, sustainable economy, investment in renewables and nuclear power – these were just a selection of the topics discussed at the 17th European Economic Congress in Katowice. The three-day event was an ideal opportunity to discuss effective measures for successful transformation.
During the panel “Energy and Transformation. Industry for Security” knowledge was shared by Artur Kalicki, CEO of PST. In an expert debate, he pointed out that the RES market has a huge opportunity for development and assumptions, which also show the increments of power in each technology. At PST, we make a real contribution to these goals by developing and offering for sale photovoltaic projects, energy storage and wind farms.
“RES is today the cheapest, safest form of energy generation. The transformation has been going on for many years, and it is worthwhile for us to talk about its dynamization and acceleration. This will guarantee our security in the broadest sense. The entire economy will electrify, it will need a stable, good supply of electricity. The market also needs investment security, the basis of which is good legislation” Artur Kalicki said, sharing his expert experience in a panel discussion.
During the numerous debates at the three-day congress on key challenges facing the RES sector and the energy industry, they also talked about:
🔹 the stability of the electricity system under conditions of increasing RES share
🔹 the importance of investments in transmission infrastructure and energy storage facilities
🔹 the role of regulatory policy in accelerating the transition
🔹 industry as an active participant and beneficiary of changes in the energy sector
